Giandomenico Zeppa is senior colorist and workflow specialist at Cineteca di Bologna: he has been grading heritage films and new feature movies for the last 15 years.In his Portfolio he restored hundreds of films from all over the world; italian classical movies directed by Fellini, Bertolucci, Visconti, Antonioni, and the whole Sergio Leone filmography. He is active in France where he color corrected Alain Resnais' Hiroshima Mon Amour and Jean-Luc Godard's Breathless.
Recently he worked for the HDR remastering of Serpico and Cinema Paradiso.
A side of the colorist work, he keeps teaching Color Grading and Color Science around the world at the International FIAF Summer School and as a freelance in collaboration with Adcom on individual or group classes.
Nowadays, due to the pandemic, he decided to deliver this new on-line masterclass trying to allow Filmmakers, Editors and Colorists to improve their knowledge on digital video essentials, with which they are facing everyday.
